The recent article appeared on The Times gives credit to Pilates as the regime of choice not only for the yummy mummies but also for celebrities! Yes and dear old Jennifer swears by it for all the right reasons! Not only is Pilates responsible for
“transforming (its regulars) bodies, improving core strength, balance, posture and flexibility”
it also helps with all those niggles that we, common mortals have in common with the “Olympus gods” of Hollywood and beyond!
An the other incredible truth is that Pilates is not just loved and credited by women: the list of influential men adopting it to change the way they move and feel in their body includes David Beckham, Andy Murray and Matthew McConaughey, Gareth Bale, Ryan Giggs, Diego Costa and Harry Kane to name a few.
As most people look up to celebrities more or less openly, or are at list a tiny bit curious about how on earth they manage to look that good despite their very busy lifestyles and constant partying I say for once it’s truly worth to take a leaf out of their book and give Pilate a go! With so many opportunities to find a great studio wherever you live especially here in London there is truly no excuse :-).
